Why we do it
We don’t just make designs — we make opportunity.
Too many kids grow up believing that creativity is a waste of time.
Too many families have to choose survival over art.
We’re here to change that — to show that design is powerful, that art can heal, and that creativity can build stronger communities.
Sweet As A Peach Creative Agency exists to prove that you can chase your dream and make a living — without leaving home.

Our Story
I noticed many of my classmates couldn’t find internships or clients. Some didn’t even know where to start. I found myself sharing tips, helping them build portfolios, and teaching them what I’d learned.
That’s when I realized the problem wasn’t talent — it was access. Birmingham didn’t have enough creative programs, internships, or spaces where designers could learn real-world skills.
I almost left Birmingham like so many other creatives do — but instead, I decided to build something that could help us stay, grow, and thrive right here.

From overlooked
to unstoppable
I didn’t grow up in a home that understood what it meant to be an artist. In my family, creativity wasn’t a career — it was a hobby that led to “sleeping on someone’s couch.” My grandma used to tell me, “Women belong in nursing.”
My family was full of people in the medical field, and I tried to follow that path. I studied vet med at Auburn, went into medical billing, even tried nursing — but none of it felt right. I was bored, uninspired, and drowning in student debt.
When COVID hit, life got hard. My family struggled, and I had this moment where I asked myself, “If I died today, what would I be remembered for?” That’s when I made a choice: to finally trust my heart and give creativity one last chance.
At 32, I enrolled at Lawson State Community College for Graphic Art & Communication. For the first time, I loved what I was learning. I absorbed everything — design, typography, branding — and couldn’t wait for the next assignment. Soon, I was landing clients, internships, and certifications.
